Bill Barkworth

Bill is a specialist human resources and recruitment consultant with over 30 years within the executive and non-executive recruitment field. Bill’s current role includes recruitment for senior management, executive and non-executive roles where he manages and delivers the complete recruitment process including board appraisal and assessment, job evaluation, salary and reward reviews – including benchmarking advice and recommendations, competency modelling and competency based interview and job hunting training, outplacement advice and career counselling.

Before joining Campbell Tickell as an associate in 2014 Bill was the Regional Director with Veredus Executive Search & Selection and the UK Lead Director for Housing, Regeneration and Development, with additional specialisms in Higher Education, Health and Local Government.

Prior to this, and for over 9 years, he was a Business Director with Hays Executive Search & Selection with responsibility for executive recruitment in regeneration, economic development, education and central government.

Bill’s own non-executive experience includes being an Independent Board Member of Riverside North, Part of Riverside Housing, a former Trustee and Board Member Leeds Aids Advice and an elected Governor/Deputy Lead Governor with South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust, a post he held for 6 years, serving on the Nominations Committee, Co-ordination Group and Quality Group.

Bill is a law graduate from the University of Leeds. He is also a BPS (British Psychological Society) accredited psychometric tester and member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
