CT Seasonal Charity Donations & E-Greetings Card 2018!

Season’s Greetings! Each year, the Campbell Tickell team nominate several charities to give to in place of sending Christmas cards by post.

This year we’re pleased to be able to support the brilliant work of The Food Chain, Brixton Soup Kitchen and Women for Women International.  Read more about them below.

1. The Food Chain

The Food Chain exists to ensure people living with HIV in London can access the nutrition they need to get well, stay well and lead healthy, independent lives. They deliver meals and groceries, offer cookery and nutrition classes and communal eating opportunities to people living with HIV in London and their dependents. They have their own kitchen space at Acorn House, King’s Cross.  Find out more.

2. Brixton Soup Kitchen

Brixton Soup Kitchen, founded in 2013 by Solomon Smith and Mahamed Hashi, has become a bastion of community support in the Brixton area, serving free meals twice a day as well as providing a clothing bank, a food bank, free to use computers with internet, and legal advice.

The kitchen has become a safe refuge for those in need as well as a place for the community and friends to gather. They’ve launched a winter campaign to fundraise for their busiest time of year. Find out more.

3. Women For Women International

Since 1993, Women for Women International has been helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives and choose their own futures. So far, they have helped more than 479,000 marginalised women in 8 countries affected by war and conflict.

Their year-long programme equips women to earn money, regain their confidence and actively participate in their communities. Find out more.
