A comprehensive regeneration plan for Newark & Sherwood
Residents of Yorke Drive, a 1960s Nottinghamshire estate, face a bright future after Newark & Sherwood Council and Campbell Tickell worked with them to develop comprehensive regeneration plans. The Yorke Drive housing estate in Newark has been granted planning permission for masterplan proposals that will see 320 new houses built, with nearly one-third being affordable.
Maggie Rafalowicz, CT’s director overseeing the project, said:
We are delighted that the masterplan has gained planning permission. This has been a collaborative effort involving the local residents, Council, and architects; and this is just the first step in making Yorke Drive a better place to live.
