The Hyde to Southern transaction was supported by a team from CT including David Williams, Partner, and Mike Ward, Senior Associate Consultant.

Southern Group Chief Executive Alan Townshend said:

I am delighted to welcome our new residents in Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex. We look forward to providing them with our excellent customer services. The Campbell Tickell team worked hard alongside Southern’s staff to complete the transfer quickly and smoothly.

Said David Williams:

While these transactions are never easy to accomplish, we are seeing an increasing appetite for such deals. When constructed right, they enable housing associations to focus their resources on their core areas, achieve better value for money, and ensure that residents benefit from access to locally focused services. We were pleased to help deliver this transaction, working alongside highly professional teams from Southern and Hyde.

This is the latest substantial housing stock acquisition that Campbell Tickell have helped facilitate.

It follows two major transactions last year involving around 2,000 homes transferring between housing associations in North East and Southern England. Additionally, CT have carried out series of smaller transactions throughout the UK.
