David is a Partner and leads the practice on Mergers and Acquisiton, Stock Rationalisation and growth strategies. A housing professional for 35 years, David has worked for a number of large RPs in the sector at Chief Executive and Executive Director level. Until recently David has been a Board member of a number of organisations both in the UK and Ireland, including RPs and ALMOs.
Since joining Campbell Tickell in 2011, David has focused primarily on supporting organisations on M&A strategies either as strategic adviser, lead adviser, critical friend, and integration lead. Acknowledged as a sector leader in this business area, David has supported over 65 partnerships, many of which successfully formed new Groups. More recently, David has also lead the practice on Stock Rationalisation. A growing area of CT’s sector offer, David has led teams supporting the largest transactions in the sector by both scale and value providing advice on sourcing opportunities, bid planning, financial assessment, and project support.
David has supported housing organisations in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.
He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has a BA(Hons) degree in Housing Studies from Sheffield Hallam University.
