Campbell Tickell facilitates Shepherds Bush Housing Association’s merger with The Guinness Partnership
In December this year, Shepherds Bush Housing Association (SBHA) officially became a subsidiary of The Guinness Partnership (TGP), with assistance from management and recruitment consultancy, Campbell Tickell.
This partnership will bring the total homes owned and managed by TGP to approximately 70,000. With a combined turnover of £500m, the group seeks to invest nearly £700m in existing homes over the next five years. Importantly, local services and the investment in the delivery of better homes for all SBHA’s residents will be able to continue. As Andrew Warner, managing director of SBHA, said in Inside Housing:
“Our partnership will mean SBHA has the stability and financial resilience to ensure residents continue to receive ongoing investment in their homes more quickly than would otherwise be possible, and the longer-term capacity to deliver environmental improvements to our homes.”(Quoted in Inside Housing – 4th Dec 2023)
Commenting on the facilitation of the merger, David Williams, Partner at Campbell Tickell, said:
