Housing Agency Ireland: Improving the Management of Empty Properties

Campbell Tickell worked closely with The Housing Agency Ireland to produce this report exploring the factors which impact efficient management of empty social housing properties.

The work involves an analysis of data on voids in both the local authority and Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) sector, and surveys on key stages in the re-let process from receiving an empty property to handing the keys over to a new tenant.

These and a series of interviews with staff working in the sector will further contribute to the identification of effective and innovative best practice recommendations on empty property management.
