Digital recruitment: Supporting our clients & candidates

In the CT recruitment team we have mixed views about lock down. For some of us the last few months have gone quickly, for others not so much, but we are all in agreement on how much we have learnt over this period.

Our new skills aren’t just limited to baking or window-box gardening – great though that has been.  We have learnt the importance of not forgetting you are on camera and that using the hands-up facility on a video call requires a high level of group discipline.

Digital recruitment

We are now delivering successful online leadership recruitment campaigns via video. We thought Microsoft Teams was our new best friend, but at times Teams has had to vie for that status with Zoom, as we have become highly proficient in the design and delivery of selection processes that use both!

Feedback from Candidates & Clients

Over the past two months, we have helped our clients appoint to a variety of permanent roles including Chief Executive, Executive Director, Head of service and Board members, and we have also placed several executive and senior interim posts too.

We have had encouraging feedback on digital recruitment from a client who made an appointment:

Massive thanks to the CT team for their facilitation and organisation as we have gone through the process, your help, support and guidance has been terrific, very well done and thank you;

And from a candidate who was on a shortlist:

I really wanted to thank you for the time and effort you have spent in giving me feedback, it gives me some real points of focus. It was without doubt an incredibly worthwhile process and experience and one I hope will stand me in good stead for the future.

Candidates are saying it is a good time to dust off the CV and start thinking more proactively about career management.
Clients are telling us that they need to push on with leadership recruitment, as they now move from crisis management to strategic planning on what their organisations are going to do next (you may find it helpful to read more about this in CT’s manifesto).
There is still buoyancy in the recruitment market, so do sign up to our weekly CT Opportunities bulletin; or visit our live jobs page.
