Liverpool City Council: Consultation launched on housing strategy

Campbell Tickell has been commissioned to develop, carry out and analyse the consultation survey

Liverpool City Council’s new five-year draft housing strategy sets out the council’s vision for what homes in Liverpool should be like; their priorities for improving the supply, quality, sustainability, and accessibility of homes; and how Liverpool City Council will work with their communities and partners to achieve this vision.

The council’s draft housing strategy has committed to support 2,000 new homes a year, reduce the number of empty properties and tackle homelessness as part of a £1-billion-plus building programme.

Consultation

The consultation runs until Friday, 6 September and features an online survey, which is available at: liverpool.gov.uk/housingstrategyconsultation. There are also some community feedback sessions in-person. People can also email their views to: housing.strategy@liverpool.gov.uk

Read the full draft housing strategy and find out more about the consultation.

The project has also been featured in the media. Read more in Inside Housing, NewStart Mag and this article published by Liverpool City Council.
