Campbell Tickell worked with South Yorkshire Integrated Care System (ICS) to construct this Market Position Statement which is focused on housing for people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
The Market Position Statement sets out the opportunities for developing new supported living provision across the ICS, and is specifically aimed at Registered Providers but is also likely to be of interest to developers and private sector landlords.
An ICS Housing Needs Assessment for people with learning disabilities and/or autism identified the demand for supported living in each authority (Doncaster Council, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, and Sheffield City Council) over the next 10 years. These findings provide the evidence that can be incorporated into housing development plans. The needs assessment also provides a baseline for each authority to carry out more detailed cohort mapping, where this is required.
