Mark Goldup

Mark has been a freelance consultant since 1997 and has extensive experience of a variety of public sector and voluntary sector services, but specialises in the fields of housing, care, support and criminal justice. In particular Mark has an in-depth understanding of housing-related support including the funding, regulatory and strategic frameworks within which it operates.

Mark is skilled at the manipulation and analysis of quantitative data and undertaking qualitative strategic reviews or service evaluations.

He has been working with Campbell Tickell since 2017. Projects have included establishing a housing-related support performance framework for a London Borough Council, a comprehensive project evaluation for a young people’s provider in the West Midlands, carrying out a rent review for national Registered Provider, and research into the use of temporary accommodation in Northern Ireland.

Before becoming a consultant he worked at Stonham Housing Association for 12 years across a range of housing management, development, policy development and financial analysis roles. He has also worked for Oxfordshire Probation Service as a housing specialist, developing a strategic response to the housing needs of offenders.
