
Bola Ogbe
Bola is a Senior Finance Consultant at Campbell Tickell, with over 15 years experience in the social housing specialising in financial planning and modelling.
Bola began his career in the private sector before moving to the social housing sector and has held senior positions at G15 housing associations.
He has extensive experience engaging with Boards, lenders and regulators, securing new funding, renegotiating facilities, ensuring rent compliance, and strengthening financial strategy and capacity. He has also developed high-performing finance teams and contributed to sustainable finance initiatives and major development programmes.
Prior to joining Campbell Tickell, he was Head of Financial Planning and Treasury at SNG. He is an experienced Brixx modeler having developed long-term business plans and sensitivity modelling for multiple housing groups, including 29 scenario analyses demonstrating resilience against market fluctuations and risk mitigation strategies. He has also supported the expansion of housing portfolios across multiple organisations through effective financial modelling, development appraisal, and capital planning.
His work includes:
- Leadership of financial planning and long-term business modelling, overseeing investment appraisals, viability assessments, scenario stress testing and regulatory submissions.
- Major merger and integration modelling, including leading on financial strategy and execution for the mergers of Network Homes and Sovereign Housing (2023), Southern Housing and Optivo (2022), and Notting Hill and Genesis (2018).
- Successful negotiation and refinancing activities, including renegotiation of expiring facilities, covenant alignment, and lender engagement to demonstrate organisational strength and long-term viability.
- Board and Committee reporting, preparing and presenting quarterly updates to Finance Committees, covering financial performance, development opportunities, strategic risks and forward capacity.
- Development and leadership of finance teams, including Senior Finance Managers, Analysts and other key roles, supporting a high-performing and strategically aligned finance function.
- Strategic oversight of major development programmes, modelling scheme impacts, optimising tenure mix and advising on financial viability.
- Regulatory and external reporting, including submissions to the Regulator of Social Housing (FFR, QFS, FVA), banks, rating agencies and funding partners.
He is a qualified accountant, and a member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
