Job Details
SNG (Sovereign Network Group) is one of the UK’s leading housing associations. With 85,000 homes across the South of England and London, we have the scale, ambition and capability to deliver homes and places that make a lasting difference. As well as being one of the most active developing housing associations in the UK, we currently serve nearly 250,000 customers, who rightly have high expectations of the quality of the homes in which they live and the services we provide, and we take that responsibility very seriously.
We are seeking three new non-executive colleagues to join our Group Board to help ensure that we deliver on our commitments to our customers, and on our ambitions for sustainable growth. Beyond the technical expertise required, we are looking for curiosity, clarity of thought, and a genuine commitment to SNG’s social purpose. You’ll join a talented and committed governance community that shares a strong sense of purpose and values, and these are exciting opportunities to contribute to the success of a forward-thinking housing group that’s redefining what’s possible in social housing delivery.
Board member – Senior Housing Operations – For this role we need a senior leader from the housing sector with deep knowledge of customer service, housing management, and relevant regulation. We are open to this being your first Board role
Board member – Strategy/ Policy – We seek candidates with presence and influence at the strategic level in the housing sector who understand policy, housing regulation, and the broad range of strategic challenges facing the sector.
We are also recruiting a Remuneration & Nominations Committee Chair, the role page for which can be viewed here.
We are keen to ensure that SNG has diversity within our governance structures, and as such welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and lived experiences who can provide a valuable and positive contribution to our Board.
