Shaping the Future of Rural Housing in North Yorkshire
Broadacres is a thriving housing association rooted in the breathtaking landscapes of North Yorkshire—a region defined by two national parks, a stunning coastline, and vibrant market towns. This unique setting brings both beauty and challenge, and for over 30 years, Broadacres has risen to meet these challenges head-on.
Today, we own and manage nearly 7,000 affordable homes and lead the way in rural development, energy efficiency, and exceptional customer experience. With an ambitious development programme to deliver 1,000 new homes by 2028 and a pioneering approach to sustainability, we are at the forefront of addressing rural housing needs.
Our Board plays a vital role in shaping this bold vision for the future, combining passion with strategic insight to ensure we make a lasting impact in our communities. We are now seeking to appoint a new Board member with deep expertise in cyber security – someone who can provide strategic oversight and ensure robust digital risk governance. The ideal candidate will bring technical acumen, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to shared values and best practice.
Whether your experience lies within or beyond the housing sector, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic Board of seasoned professionals from diverse backgrounds. Broadacres offers a welcoming, values-driven culture and is passionate about delivering homes and services that truly make a difference.
