Treasury Committee Member
Job Details
This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Treasury Committee of one of the UK’s largest housing associations at a time of significant growth, innovation and sector change. The Committee oversees a complex and substantial funding programme, supporting an ambitious development strategy through a diverse range of debt facilities, capital markets activity and treasury initiatives. Alongside its core responsibilities, the Committee is actively exploring alternative funding structures and working with key partners to help shape new models of investment into affordable housing.
We are seeking an individual with strong commercial, treasury, capital markets, investment or infrastructure finance experience who can bring an independent perspective, intellectual curiosity and constructive challenge. More important than direct sector knowledge is the ability to think creatively about complex financial problems, evaluate emerging opportunities and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. This is a role for someone who enjoys strategic thinking, is comfortable operating in uncertainty and is motivated by the opportunity to influence what could become a generational shift in the delivery and funding of affordable housing.
You will join a highly experienced committee comprising senior leaders from banking, treasury, finance and corporate backgrounds, working at the forefront of discussions around financial resilience, regulatory developments and long-term sector sustainability. We welcome candidates who can bring fresh thinking, diverse perspectives and a willingness to devote the time and energy needed to help shape the organisation’s future success.
