Job Details
Wandle was founded in 1967 by a group of local people determined to tackle homelessness in South London. Today, we own and manage more than 7,500 homes across nine South London boroughs and employ almost 250 colleagues. While providing safe, affordable homes remains at the heart of what we do, our ambition goes further. We work alongside customers and communities to create opportunities, improve wellbeing and help people thrive.
We are seeking an exceptional leader who shares our commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives. You will bring significant Board-level experience within the social housing sector, together with the ability to provide strategic leadership, promote effective governance and build strong relationships across the Board and Executive Team.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong track record in governance, excellent people and stakeholder skills, a passion for customer-focused services, and a genuine commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
At Wandle, we believe that diverse perspectives lead to better decision-making and stronger outcomes for our customers. We are committed to creating an inclusive culture and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. We are particularly keen to ensure our Board reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
