Divya has recently joined Campbell Tickell as a Research and Policy Officer and is currently completing her MRes in Advanced Quantitative Methods from the University of Bristol. She had earlier completed her MBA in Rural Management and an MSc in Computer Science.
Prior to working at Campbell Tickell, Divya worked on a project with LSE Consulting where she did research to develop a case study on Diversity and Inclusion in Business Innovation in the Netherlands. Divya gained extensive research and policy experience from working at a research think tank in India, for more than four years, where she analysed government budgets and looked at how much the government spent on children (i.e. a child budget) and on the water, health and education sectors; the analysis was used to effect policy change. Divya has also led, managed and been in-charge of communication for research projects funded by UNICEF and the Global Development Network and other funders. Earlier, she has worked with the Oxfam GB in Asia/ India, in the financial inclusion sector in India and been a teacher.
As a Research and Policy Officer at Campbell Tickell, Divya provides project and research support to a team of Senior Consultants and Partners. This includes design, analysis of survey questionnaires, desktop analysis using housing databases, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, writing research reports and policy briefs.
