Dawn Matthews is a Senior Consultant who looks after Human Resources & Permanent Recruitment at Campbell Tickell. She joined the practice in December 2017 and is an accomplished practitioner with more than 16 years’ experience in all aspects of HR and OD.
Dawn is from a Local Government background and has held the position of Head of Recruitment at a range of local authorities and a central government agency. This has equipped her with extensive experience of managing the end-to-end recruitment process for numerous executive roles including Chief Executives, Strategic Directors, Group and Divisional Directors. In 2011 she transitioned to Organisational Development, which has resulted in her leading on a range of Learning & Development and people related strategies, and projects including council wide restructures, implementation of behavioural frameworks, management development and designing and implementing new business operating models.
Immediately prior to joining Campbell Tickell, Dawn worked as an Interim for a year where she was instrumental in developing the L&D strategy, procuring and implementing a corporate training programme at a local authority. She also successfully managed the organisation’s procurement and implementation of a staff survey, the results of which she used to devise an action plan aligned to the corporate plan.
