Catherine joined Campbell Tickell as a Director in 2022 to lead across a range of consultancy projects.

She is an experienced, values-driven leader, with a track record of delivering community-based housing services and putting tenant voice at the heart of decision making. Her 20 years’ experience in the non-profit sector includes time at Executive Director level, as well as extensive work with Boards to develop and deliver strategy.

She has particular experience and skills in governance, regulation and operations and is passionate about the importance of tenant voice being heard at all levels. She has worked with Boards to develop strategic thinking, including through formulating and leading Board strategy away days and horizon-scanning exercises to explore the current and future operating environment.

Catherine has worked with housing organisations and tenants nationally to improve practice around accountability and developing tenant-led assurance. She has played a leading role in supporting national tenant-led initiatives, including the Benefit to Society campaign (now known as Stop Stigma in Social Housing).

Catherine holds a degree in English, an MBA with distinction and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. She has served as a Board member for several non-profit organisations, including as a founding Board member of Oxford Credit Union, and currently as a Board member of Tpas and the National Centre for Writing.
