Our process

1.  Quick turnaround

We understand you may need an interim sooner rather than later. We endeavour to provide you with options based on your desired timescales and we never compromise on quality.

2.  Strong candidates

Our candidate pool is made up of some of the best talent in housing and we have many strong candidate connections that operate outside of this area if you’re looking for something different. We take the time to get to know prospective candidates more deeply than just their CVs, and we have a sharp eye for talent and use our better understanding of candidates and their motivations to match them with clients that we think can benefit from them most.

3. Tailored, bespoke recruitment

Just like we take time to understand our candidates better, we take the time to understand your needs better too. No two roles are the same – even if their title is.

The current situation at your organisation, the team, the size of the organisation, the projects and future ambitions all play a part in who would be best suited to do the job for you.

What’s more, if our standard interim recruitment process doesn’t quite fit your needs – we’ll happily tailor it to ensure you get exactly what you’re looking for. Whether it be: Daily Rate Interim, Fixed-Term Contract, Long-list Reporting, Search-Only or Middle-Management Permanent Contingency, for roles that aren’t quite senior enough to warrant full months long formal permanent search, we’re here to help, and we’re here to work with you to fulfil your needs.

What about IR35?

IR35 is an important piece of legislation that affects whether an interim can be represented in their contractual agreement with the client by their Limited Company or as themselves. IR35 was originally scheduled to be fully enacted on all businesses and public bodies in March 2020, however this has since been pushed back to March 2021.

IR35 is an understandable concern for many candidates taking interim roles. Very often the roles we advertise on our website and weekly bulletin will include information on whether a role falls inside or outside of IR35. If it falls Inside IR35, most of the time this means you’ll need to register with an Umbrella Payroll Agency and the contract for the role will be held between this Agency and the client. The Umbrella Payroll Agency will pay you directly, after deductions and taxes. If a role falls Outside of IR35, this means your Limited Company can enter into the contractual agreement with the client and you’ll need to invoice for your time worked and/or expenses, which will be paid to your Limited Company. You’ll be responsible for making all the legal deductions and recording this, and letting HMRC know.

If it isn’t clear from the job advert if the role falls Inside or Outside of IR35, please do get in touch and we’ll be happy to let you know the details of the post.
