We are excited to be seeking a Housing Solutions Service Manager. This is a role that requires a senior leader to take on a pivotal role within our Housing Solutions team. The Housing Solutions Service Manager will be responsible for the operational implementation of Part 6 and 7 of the Housing Act 1996, overseeing compliance, quality assurance, and the delivery of homelessness services. This includes leading a team to provide effective support to tenants and working with landlords to ensure that all residents receive the assistance they need to prevent homelessness.
You will oversee the delivery of the Housing Solutions service, be responsible for the implementation and coordination of the Council’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy. You will lead a team in developing innovative housing solutions that align with government performance indicators and manage the provision of financial and administrative support for service areas under your control. You will also develop and monitor high-level performance outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement in service standards, serving as the operational lead in developing policies and processes that promote “right first time” service delivery.
