We are now recruiting to four senior roles and are looking for bold, visionary leaders to join us and be part of the next phase of our journey.
Group Director of People & Insights (c.£110K)
In this role you’ll lead transformative efforts across Group Performance, HR, ICT (Digital), Customer Services, Tenant Involvement, and Communications. You will deliver impactful insights and innovative strategies to enable smarter, data-informed decisions across the organisation.
A strong foundation in customer experience is essential to shaping strategies that maximise tenant satisfaction and engagement. Your ability to listen, engage, and act on insights will underpin the development of solutions that truly make a difference.

Director of Communities (c.£110K)
This role will make a lasting difference in the lives of our tenants by leading our approach to fostering vibrant and supportive communities. You’ll focus on building strong relationships, empowering tenants, and driving positive change across Housing Management Services, Tenant Support and two of our subsidiaries – The Care Society, and Care & Repair in Powys.
This opportunity is ideal for an inspiring leader with a deep understanding of housing and community engagement, and a passion for creating meaningful social impact. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping services that prioritise tenant wellbeing and community strength.
Assistant Director of Finance (c.£80K)
This role will help shape and support the financial future of Barcud. As a qualified accountant, this is your chance to lead the way in designing and implementing cutting-edge finance strategies and systems. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial sustainability and driving the organisation’s long-term success.
We’re seeking a financial leader with significant experience of developing high level budgets, business strategies and action plans.
Head of Governance (c.£60K)
This role will ensure the highest standards of governance, playing a critical role in supporting the group and subsidiary boards, ensuring accountability and transparency across their legal, constitutional and regulatory responsibilities. If you’re detail-oriented and committed to robust governance, then this is a role where you can make a real impact.
This role will advocate for accountability and transparency, welcoming candidates with strong governance expertise from a variety of sectors.
