We are one of the West Midlands’ leading and most successful providers of high quality homes. Owning and managing around 21,000 properties across the Midlands, we provide affordable, good quality homes and community-based services to our local community.
Financially strong with ambitions for growth, by 2024 we aim to own or manage 30,000 homes, operate throughout the Midlands and be known nationally as a provider of much more than housing. We play a pivotal role in regenerating and supporting local communities. Our work includes helping local residents to access employment, tackle poor health and improve their neighbourhoods.
About the role
As our new Chair, your values and your commitment to social justice will be aligned to ours. You will provide active and inclusive leadership for the Board and strategic support and challenge to the Chief Executive and his team. Your professional experience could be drawn from any field or sector, what matters is that you are a confident and inspirational leader with the credibility that allows you to engage and influence at a senior level in and outside the sector. You will have a proven track record as an effective non-executive with strong strategic financial, business and commercial skills, gained within a large, complex organisation.
