We provide 1250 homes and services to local enterprises, operating predominantly in Leeds. Celebrating our 30th year last year, we have an excellent reputation locally for being an active community leader, punching above our weight, building sustainable and cohesive communities, quality homes and community services. This is a great time to join us, as we strive to complete our ambitious development programme of 220 new homes – with potential to grow further beyond 2022 and set a refreshed strategy and direction of travel for developing the organisation.
About the role
We are now seeking a new Chair for our HR & Governance Committee, and people to join our main board and subsidiary board, Unity Enterprise. Most importantly we are looking for people who will share our absolute passion for what we do, be committed to our social purpose, and be keen to make a positive difference to local communities.
We would especially, but not exclusively, like to hear from people with the following skills: finance; strategic HR; housing operations, property or development; and knowledge of the local area and communities. We are also interested in potential Committee Chairs for our Operations and Audit Committees, initially to shadow one of the current chairs with the view to taking on the chair role at a future date.

£2,850 for Board Member positions (£3,300 if appointed as a Committee Chair)
