South Essex Homes manage approximately 6,500 homes on behalf of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council and employ 180 staff.
Our commercial subsidiary, South Essex Property Services continues to grow from a standing start in 2017 to more than £1.4 m pa t/o today with South Essex Homes contributing a further circa £800k to our overall annual commercial activity.
About the role
Based on our expansion and recognising the need to ensure capacity, resilience, and succession in our executive team we are creating new posts to address these needs and deliver our continued expansion.
We are looking for a senior person who can bring fresh ideas and innovation to the operational side of the business which includes property and tenancy management.
You will ensure our service models are fit for purpose, generate potential income and efficiencies, and drive quality and value from our contracts whilst overseeing the service and putting residents at the heart of all that we do.
Ideally, you will have knowledge of the housing sector and local government but as important will be your cultural fit. You will be joining a welcoming, collaborative and supportive organisations at a time when you can make a real personal impact on our work and future.
