For over 45 years, Cardiff Women’s Aid has been working to prevent and respond to domestic and sexual violence and all other forms of violence against women and girls.  As a women-led feminist organisation we provide 24/7 crisis support and emergency accommodation through to aftercare and recovery.

About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the senior executive team with the Director of Business Development, the Service Director will be responsible for the strategic implementation and effective delivery of the organisation’s support services.  You will have responsibility for the delivery of services which are person centred and solution focussed to include accommodation-based support, community provision, children and young people services aftercare and recovery and the management and delivery of projects.

We are seeking exceptional leadership skills and a senior track record in a support service environment. You will need to be able to balance having an internal and external focus bringing strong influencing and fundraising skills, the ability to work closely with partners and to ensure quality service delivery.

This post is open to women only under the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1.
