London FA – Chair

London FA

Are you the engaging Chair who can complete our Board team?

We at the London FA are looking to grow the long-term participation in our sport so that it better reflects London’s diverse population, and will do this by changing our focus, culture and infrastructure. To get there, we have recently recruited a new Chief Executive and are now looking for the next key player – in the position of Chair – to complete our leadership team.

Location(s): London
Job Type: Non-Executive
Closing date: October 01 2018
Salary: Voluntary role

About the role

You will need to have senior leadership experience to help us steward change effectively, both at Board level and with our partners. You will understand how to role model and promote good governance, earned through your own non-executive experience and learning.

As Chair, you will be an important ambassador for the organisation, whether engaging in high level discussion with funders, or connecting with the grass-roots membership.

Your commitment to and interest in football will be central to building your credibility in this role, and it’s likely that you will come with experience of the football or sports sector. You will also bring an understanding of London’s political bodies and networks.
