Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association – Chief Executive

We are a long standing independent housing association which provides and develops social housing in Hackney, Islington and Waltham Forest and  owns homes in Haringey, Camden and Tower Hamlets. Through our main subsidiary we provide housing to the Vietnamese and South East Asian community.

We are rooted in our local community and have a long tradition of supporting those in real housing need and providing services that reflect the needs of the community.

Location(s): London
Job Type: Permanent
Closing date: September 10 2018
Salary: c.£100K

About the role

Our current CEO retires at the end of the year, leaving a stable and financially viable organisation with a strong sense of purpose, productive stakeholder relationships and a solid local reputation on which we can build. We have a deep-rooted set of values and an ethos which is shared across the Board and staff team. However, there is still much to do, as we respond to the challenges of the housing market, meet the complex needs of our customers, set our direction of travel for 2020 onwards and modernise the way we deliver front line services and improve our interactions with customers through our ICT systems.

You will have senior leadership experience and a background in housing. We are open to hearing from step up candidates and people who reflect the community we serve.
