Head of Development – Hexagon
Developing and managing homes across South East London, Hexagon is an innovative and responsive housing association working in partnership with a range of local authorities to meet housing and care needs in London. With a turnover of £33.5m and 154 staff, Hexagon is continually improving the quality and range of its affordable homes and services. We have over 4300 homes but are much more than a landlord, as an organisation, we are concerned about people, their homes and communities.
About the role
It’s an exciting time to join Hexagon with some 300 units either on site or in the pipe line and plans for another 80 units per year across all tenures. As an organisation we continue to “punch above our weight” and have ambitions to do more out right sales.
As our new Head of Service, you will be an experienced developer, from a traditional Housing Association background, of a range of tenures for rent, shared ownership and outright sale. You will have new business experience; finding sites, running appraisals, budget management and importantly experience of mixed use sites. An ideal step up role for the right candidate who brings a track record in development, commercial acumen and good people management skills.
