Group Board Member – Sanctuary Group
Sanctuary is one of the UK’s leading providers of housing, care and commercial services. At the heart of our business is a housing association. We own and manage over 105,000 homes across England and Scotland and aspire to build many more. Our accommodation includes general rented, retirement living, supported housing, student and key worker accommodation and care homes, and we employ more than 13,000 people.
About the role
High standards of governance have been critical to our success; as part of our succession planning, we are now seeking a new Board member who can think strategically and help build relationships with our stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the non-executive leadership skills to operate effectively at the highest level, and to provide support and challenge across our diverse and complex business.
For this role we are seeking an exceptional individual with wide senior experience; this is likely to include technology, digitalisation of services, housing management or housing development.
With a strong focus on equality of opportunity for all, we particularly welcome applications from women, people with disabilities, LGBT+ candidates and those from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
