Governance and Board Support Manager – Funding Affordable Homes HA
About the role
Funding Affordable Homes (FAH) is a growing £130m social impact investment fund with a mission to support the affordable housing sector in the UK. The fund has a subsidiary for-profit Registered Provider, FAH Housing Association (FAHHA) which has a large and diversified portfolio of freehold affordable housing in the UK.
This opportunity is becoming available as the result of the retirement of a long-standing member of the small and close-knit team at FAHHA. The role provides support to the Board and Company Secretary, with responsibility across a broad range of areas including governance, board documentation and reporting, data management, inputting into the NROSH+ Regulator of Social Housing system and the Homes England IMS system.
Ideally you will have experience in the affordable housing sector and will bring an understanding of best practice in relation to governance in housing. You will have experience of supporting regulatory/ compliance activities. This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit an ambitious professional looking to take their next step in a career in governance within social housing.
