About the role

This is a new role and as our Assistant Director of Governance and Assurance you will lead a high quality and effective service across Governance, Assurance, Risk and Legal.

As a senior manager, you will report directly to the Executive Director of Corporate Services, and as company secretary you will work closely with the Board. You’ll lead on business assurance and compliance as well as risk management.

We are seeking a senior leader who is ambitious, will be highly visible with strong communication skills. Housing sector experience is not a prerequisite but energy, passion and commitment to the role is a must. With strong social values you will also offer a commercial outlook to driving forward the service.
