Executive Director of Retirement Housing – Housing 21
Housing 21 is a leading not for profit provider of Retirement Housing and Extra Care for older people of modest means. We make a positive difference to society by putting people at the heart of what we do.
About the role
Make a difference to the lives of over 14,000 older people
Are you passionate about people? Can you shape our future as our first Executive Director of Retirement Housing?
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be passionate about influencing our strategic direction and improving services at each of our 330 Retirement Housing locations across England to ensure we offer our residents the best possible experience.
The current service is successful, but we are not complacent and know there is always room for improvement.
You will innovate and create an infectious desire for continuous improvement throughout Retirement Housing and you will encourage your team to be the best they can be and value their ideas.
You will bring senior experience in the housing sector and an understanding of older people’s housing, along with an ability to see the strategic big picture, and the energy and imagination to drive the organisation forward through setting and achieving ambitious business and service targets.
By joining us, you won’t just receive a competitive salary and access to a range of benefits – you will be part of an organisation that is inclusive, celebrates diversity, and cares about its employees and their work/life balance.
We have embraced agile working so your base is not as important as your willingness to attend our Head Office in Birmingham when required.
