Director of Asset Management – Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust
About the role
The Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is a provider of housing and care, and we manage around 2,500 homes across York, North Yorkshire, and parts of the Northeast. Together with our parent company The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF), the charity that strives to inspire the delivery of social change, we form the JRF-JRHT Group with a proud history and heritage stretching back more than 100 years.
Despite this unique legacy, the time has now come for change, and in order for this to be achieved we are seeking to recruit new Directors who will play a key role in leading, influencing and supporting this journey of transformation.
The roles will report to the JRHT Executive Director and will be accountable for communities and asset management. Whilst this could be your first Director role, both postholders will bring senior leadership experience, with a focus on people. You will also be a role model for the organisation and how we do things to support the delivery of excellent services to our customers.
As the Director of Assets, you will ensure that there is a focus on compliance and safety and the Director of Communities will lead the development and delivery of high quality, responsive and resident focussed services. In the coming weeks we will also be recruiting a further Director to join the team who will be a Director of Finance, People & Technology.
