Customer Experience Committee Independent Member – Watford Community Housing
About the role
At Watford Community Housing, we are proudly different. We are a Community Gateway housing association, which means we put our tenants at the heart of everything we do. We encourage our tenants to become voting members who can affect decisions that directly impact them. We put in the extra work to deliver more to our residents through positive partnering with community-focussed groups. These partnerships allow us to do more for our communities, the environment, and to meet the growing need for quality social housing.
At the heart of our commitment to exceptional service delivery is our Customer Experience Committee. This committee ensures we challenge our thinking of what our residents expect from us as a housing partner, and ensures we have the right strategies, policies, and processes to deliver an operationally exceptional experience and uphold our high standards of corporate governance.
As our Customer Experience Committee Chair and another valued committee member reach their time served, we will welcome two new voices to our team. Our new Chair will bring senior level housing management expertise, true dedication to hearing our tenants’ voice, experience within a board environment, and an unfaltering commitment to diversity to the committee. Our new independent member will bring the same commitment to tenant voice, a high level of customer service experience from housing or a professional environment and may be at the start of their governance journey.
If you have been looking to support a customer-driven organisation, we would love to hear from you.
Our team is made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds, and we whole-heartedly encourage candidates from underrepresented backgrounds or disabilities to apply.
