Chief Executive – Salvation Army Housing Association
About the role
Transforming lives. Salvation Army Housing Association is rooted in Christian faith.
We are also a diverse and inclusive organisation, encompassing people of all faiths and none. Our legacy is founded in fighting injustice and supporting people who need kindness and care, to help unlock talent, fulfil potential and work towards aspiration. Our housing and support transforms lives. So, our new Chief Executive will need to align to that commitment, alongside our values and Christian ethos.
You will be joining an organisation that is making good progress along its improvement pathway. We are financially stable; have an energetic and committed staff and Board team; and strong partner relationships including with our residents and The Salvation Army. So, there are robust foundations to build upon.
We expect that you will already be working at senior level within the social/supported housing sector and can bring strong insight and experience into key business functions such as risk, assurance, compliance, people, and culture. You will also have a leadership style where your drive and commitment are evident for all to see, and for people to be inspired by.
It is a hugely critical leadership role at a pertinent time, and therefore an opportunity to make your mark. But if you are the right person for this role, you are more likely to be driven by the impact Saha needs to make for its current and future residents and service users.
We welcome applications from women and people from black and minority ethnic communities, who are currently under-represented in our senior staffing structure.
