Chair – Sixty Bricks
Do you want to help develop high quality homes that people can be proud of? Are you passionate about helping to build socially inclusive and cohesive communities? If so, then these opportunities might interest you.
About the role
Sixty Bricks Ltd, the London Borough of Waltham Forest’s dynamic and creative property development company, is seeking a Chair and two Non-executive Directors to join its Board.
Your commercial development expertise will be invaluable in helping us build new homes of mixed tenure, regenerate existing council stock, and balance the delivery of affordable housing with the complexities of navigating a political environment.
As Chair of our Board, your understanding of our operating environment, the challenges faced by residents within Waltham Forest, your prior NED experience, and your tenacity to manage a £multimillion commercial project, will equip you with the gravitas required to engender the confidence of our Managing Director and stakeholders, whilst getting the best out of colleagues.
Our new Board Members will bring expertise and a strong track record of managing development with a commercial approach, understand the nuances of providing mixed tenure accommodation for a diverse client group, and have a good understanding of governance.
Providing homes in a multi-cultural borough requires a Board that reflects the diversity of our community, so we welcome applications from individuals who have the skills being sought, can bring diversity of thought and a genuine understanding of the client group.
