Chair – Durham Aged Mineworkers’ Homes Association
We have an extraordinary legacy stretching back some 120 years. Having been founded on the ethos of fairness and social justice, those principles are still very much at the fore of what we do today – driving our ambition to continue to provide high quality homes for older people in communities that we are very much a part of. This last year has shown how important that connection is in getting support to those that need it.
About the role
Our new Chair will be working with a dedicated Board and staff team, harnessing their talents to ensure we remain impactful. We are open about your professional or sector background, but it is your enthusiasm and engagement that is of particular interest to us. We continue to see huge relevance and potential for our organisation and anticipate that our new Chair will too.
We will also be recruiting to Board member roles for DAMHA over the coming months, so you can register your interest with Kelly Shaw.
