Chair – Christian Action Housing Association
About the role
We are a community-based social housing organisation that has proudly been serving North London for over 50 years.
CAHA is a local business providing c.1,500 affordable homes, both general needs and supported housing, across four vibrant North London Boroughs. We are passionate, upbeat, and positive about the impact we have and the support we offer our communities, and this is a great opportunity to join a diverse and committed team.
It is with excitement that we seek a new Chair to join us and help lead our organisation through the next stage of our journey. This is a role where you can have a big impact on an organisation that is taking another look at how we do things, and we seek a talented and committed Chair to help lead us on that change journey.
This is a role that requires a highly-developed understanding of what good governance looks like at an organisation like ours, and a track record of leading a high-performance culture in a regulated environment. We are a people business and so your commitment to our tenants, and belief that a strong internal culture is critical for delivery of great outcomes for them, will be key.
You will bring a strong Board track record with a focus on driving impact and outcomes, and while we expect that to likely have been gained in the social housing sector, we are open to hearing from candidates with similar experience in a related regulated environment.
We are committed to diversity in all forms and hope that you will cherish diversity of thought as we do. If this sounds like an exciting and inspiring challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
