Board Member – Pickering and Ferens Homes
About the role
Pickering and Ferens Homes (PFH) has a long and proud tradition of providing superior yet affordable housing options for older people in Kingston-upon- Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire. We are truly a values-based organisation, providing good quality homes and a strong delivery of health and wellbeing services to our clients. We are proud to be small and local, and constantly challenge ourselves to consider what it means to be ‘more than a landlord’ by playing a positive part in our clients’ wellbeing as they move through new stages of their lives.
Due to two of our valued Board members retiring, we have an opportunity for two individuals to join us as Non-Executive Directors to ensure we continue to challenge our offering to our clients and keep us pointed in a positive strategic direction. Whilst both Board members will be expected to join a committee commensurate with their skills, we require one candidate to take on the Chair of Audit and Risk Committee seat. We are seeking candidates with recent or active experience in social housing at an Executive Level that have held a Non-Executive Director role previously or currently.
