Board Members – Durham Aged Mineworkers’ Homes Association
We have an extraordinary legacy stretching back some 120 years. Having been founded on the ethos of fairness and social justice, those principles are still very much at the fore of what we do today – driving our ambition to continue to provide high quality homes for older people in communities that we are very much a part of. This last year has shown how important that connection is in getting support to those that need it.
About the role
For our new Board Members, we are open about sector background and prior board experience is not a prerequisite. We have a highly skilled board but wish to hear from those with an understanding in areas such as development/contract management; repairs/maintenance; or finance/assurance. We are passionate about embracing and promoting equality and diversity and keen to reflect this within these new roles.
If you believe you can make a meaningful contribution and ensure we remain impactful, then we would like to hear from you.
