Bids and Tenders Manager
Campbell Tickell is a well-established management and recruitment consultancy, operating across the UK and Ireland, and focusing on housing, social care, sports and leisure, and charities. We are a values-based business and firmly place the positioning of our support and challenge on helping organisations to attain change that is well thought through, planned and sustainable. We want to help organisations create the landscape within which we ourselves would like to exist: fair, inclusive, diverse, engaged and transparent. Relationships are at the heart of how we do business. We build from our values in how we approach all our work as a practice.
About the role
At Campbell Tickell when we think about the art of good writing, we feel there is a magic that happens that elevates a standard bid to something truly exceptional.
So, while we aren’t looking for a magician (!) we do need an experienced bid writer to join our team.
We are a highly successful consultancy business. Our clients are typically working in the profit for purpose space or are public sector organisations, so there is a strong emphasis on accountability and doing things in the right way.
This often starts with the bidding process. At Campbell Tickell we are responding on a weekly basis to a range of bid opportunities. This new managerial role is about co-ordinating all of our bids activity and helping the practice to submit high quality bids for a wide variety of work.
You will have a track record in successful bid writing, a keen eye for detail, and be able to offer real flair, so that we are submitting bids that we are proud of. It is an interesting balance between ensuring we comply with established bid processes, and bringing creativity to how we convey our offer to potential clients with high quality submissions.
While we tend to work at pace, and we are a friendly team that places a premium on ensuring a supportive, engaging and collaborative work environment. It’s an exciting time to consider joining us, as we are setting our strategy for new growth. You will be playing a crucial role in our future success, and we will give you platform to make an impact and ensure that your work is valued.
