About the role

This executive director role is crucial to the successful establishment of the new entity. You will be taking lead responsibility in designing and implementing integration plans in a large and complex organisation, so that AHG has a joined-up approach across all key business functions, to ensure a robust infrastructure and to drive benefits for customers. Executive colleagues, the Board and other stakeholders will look to you to speak with authority on the integration agenda, at the same time as ensuring their input.

Your sector background is of less importance than your skills and experience. You will need to give assurance on scale and complexity for this role – AHG will have 60,000 customers, cared for by 10,000 staff, operating across 1,700 sites. Your track record of tangible success in the delivery of significant transformation that has improved the product and service offer to customers will be key and you are likely to have operated in a regulated environment.

This is a fixed term contract role, initially anticipated to be around 12-18 months, but we are open to negotiation. This is a full-time role, but we would consider a more flexible approach. Regular national travel is expected, and there are office locations in London, Bradford, St Neots, Cambridgeshire and Chippenham.
