At Gateway Housing our aim is to raise the quality of life of local residents by providing good quality, affordable housing and excellent services within our diverse communities. We are seeking a new non-executive Chair to lead our board and work in partnership with the executive team, residents and staff to drive our vision of providing excellent services focussed on local needs.
With a strong resident focus and evidenced commitment to diversity and social cohesion, you will possess excellent communication skills with a proven track record in developing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You'll also need board level experience within a similar background and a strong understanding of best practice in governance. The likely time commitment is 3-4 days per month, involving attendance at board and committee meetings, events and conferences.
