New Chair
Do you have a passion for housing's role in delivering social justice?
London
In 2010 we are celebrating our 50th year by renewing our charitable mission and looking for a new Chair with the ability and passion to ensure that HACT really makes a difference in the next 50 years.
HACT is a small national charity with strong links to the housing sector, focused on finding practical solutions for people living in poverty and in deprived neighbourhoods. Our mission is to improve the wellbeing and living conditions of poor and marginalised people. We deliver lasting change with projects that harness the energy and enthusiasm of local people, housing providers and other organisations, and that bring in know-how and new resources to make things happen.
Our new Chair will be an inspirational leader, communicator and ambassador. S/he will have widespread experience at a senior level in housing, charities, regeneration, government or another relevant field. Governance and management will also be areas of strength.
Board meetings are generally held six times a year, in London.
For an informal discussion, please contact our consultant Clare Roberts of Campbell Tickell on 07801 579 964 or .
