Greg has more than 15 years' HR experience in social housing, local government, and the voluntary sector. This includes managing all the HR decision-making and negotiating machinery for a London Borough. At national level, he advised the Local Government Employers on TUPE and on pensions matters. He negotiated and advised variously on both management and trade union sides.

As a consultant, he has conducted reviews of staff structure, pay, organisational development, internal communications, HR policies and procedures, health and safety policies and procedures, and advised on senior management and staff recruitment, and TUPE transfers. HR is also an area of core competency for a number of our associates, including those who specialise in diversity issues.

As a senior manager in the Federation and elsewhere, James has also dealt the full range of HR issues, and related organisation development activities.
