About Radojka Miljevic
Radojka has worked as a consultant since the beginning of 2003. In the main her work has been with housing associations and local authorities, although she has also worked with a small number of private clients. Radojka has broad-ranging experience in such areas as:
- The management of Corporate Services
- Rewriting or creating policy and strategy documents
- Project managing change programme activity
- Reviewing documentation and policies and procedures to ascertain compliance with best practice
- Designing questionnaires, interview questions, JDs, focus group formats
- Staff and tenant consultation
- Training needs analysis
- Procurement policy and strategy
- Business continuity planning
- Health and safety policies, arrangements, risk assessments.
Prior to working as a consultant, Radojka was Facilities Manager for TUI UK (formerly Thomson Holidays Ltd) for several years, project-managing moves and refurbishments, as well as a significant design and build project in Glasgow, alongside the conventional FM portfolio of services.
In 1995 she was awarded a British Academy grant to carry out postgraduate research and completed her doctoral thesis in 1999.
From 1989 to 1995 Radojka worked at London University, in the School of Slavonic and East European Studies. She managed the School's publications output and edited a quarterly humanities journal (of international standing) on whose Board she has served ever since. She also fundraised for and designed scholarly conferences, working with stakeholders such as the FCO, other academic institutions and foreign diplomats.
Radojka is a qualified practitioner of Prince2 and holds a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. She is also an experienced observer of international elections held in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
