NHF Code of governance 2015: promoting board excellence for housing associations

Authored by Campbell Tickell, this code is based on clear requirements and provisions and allows organisations to demonstrate the highest standards of governance through adopting it.

The overall code of governance is split into the main requirements and key provisions for each area. This latest revision:

  • emphasises the importance of boards and their strategic control
  • includes more detailed provisions for groups, which may have several boards within them
  • is relevant for housing associations regardless of size and complexity.
